Life with . . . Luke

Here is Luke taking a break at the Life for Christ Karate kick-a-thon. He did great this year - 1256 kicks!

Luke and his science Christmas present(thanks Rach!). I thought the reactions would be a little bit more noticeable, but he was happy with the results.

Every Friday the boys write in their Journal. The subject matter is up to them unless they need help with ideas. Luke needs to write at least 3 sentences. Sometimes this is easy and sometimes not so much. If they want me to read their journal that week, they leave it out with their pencil marking the spot. Occasionally I go through and read the ones they didn't leave out for me. This was Luke's entry upon returning to school after Christmas break! I love his honesty!

Too cute! How Funny!
I'm contacting you because I am interested in learning/using more Charlotte Mason techniques in our schooling-I have it listed on my profile for my blog and that's how I found you. We've been homeschooling Classically for 7 years, but I prefer to call what we do Lifeschooling. I've started a network with a group for Charlotte Mason-so we can share ideas and encouragement in one place. I've been trying to "follow" blogs with similar content, but frankly it's too hard to catch up with all the other content shared. This is a place where it can all be in one place for everyone to use. Please consider joining on so we can share ideas with one another. If you know anyone else who might be interested or would be encouraged by something like this, I would be appreciative if you could share this with them too! Here's the link: http://classicallifeschooling.ning.com/?xgi=bQCBpqW . You can also get to the site from my blog and clicking on the Classical Lifeschooling and So Much More box with the pictures on the right-hand side:) You can link your current blog to your page so everyone can go to it too! Thank you for your time in considering this:) Blessings to you! Amanda:)
