Day 150-156

Day 150, Sunday, May 30th
The garden is officially planted!  Yeah!  I had some wonderful friends come over on Thursday and we made short work of it.  There are still a few things left to plant, mulching to be done and (since we've had some wonderful rain) weeding to begin!

Day 151, Monday, May 31st
We went to the Memorial Day Parade in downtown Mishawaka.  They did a great job - no candy(!), only a few sirens and so much more I don't have room to list it all.  If I am going to go to a parade this is the one!  The weather started out a little rainy, then a 10 minute downpour and then the sun finally came out!
Ready, Aim . . .
Fire!
All that and Baby Girl slept through it!
Day 153, Wednesday, June 2nd
We went the the Shipshewana Flea Market to get some plants for my planters!  So excited!  Last year, due to being pregnant, I never got around to planting flowers in them.  I was definitely ready - now I'll just have to clean out the weeds that are growing abunduntly in them!
Why you don't let a 6 year old take Silly Putty in the vehicle for a 45 minute drive!  This shirt is still lying next to the washer . . .
Day 155, Friday, June 4th
Baby Girl playing with the little Tupperware dishes!  I actually did not teach her to do this!
She kept smiling for the camera after I took the picture!  Here I finally got it!  I think that is a smile?!
Day 156, Saturday, June 5th
A good pot of soup at the end of a rainy day.  Chicken Tortilla is a fav of ours!

The baby is just too sweet...oh, I love that age.

Can't wait to see what your planters look like. I was more into flowers this year than last, too. Amazing how a big belly shuts you down!

Silly putty, huh? I thought it was a very innocent thing...guess not.

Wow! You garden is huge! I'll bet it is beautiful (and bountiful) when everything grows in.

I can't believe N slept through all of that noise! Wouldn't it be nice to sleep like that sometimes? :)
Your garden looks great! How are the plants from Shipshewana? I have only been there once. Isn't that pathetic?!
If you figure out how to get the silly putty out let me know. Ella got pink noise putty all over a shirt and I couldn't find anything to get it out.
Have a super week!!

Chicken Tortilla is my absolute favorite soup! Darling photos of your little one :-) That's a HUGE garden! I miss Shipshewana! Love the fabric stores, and just walking around the town. We've stayed at a very nice B&B near there a few times, too.

Have a great week!

OMGosh your garden is HUGE!!!!! How exciting! My little veggie patch is the size of a postage stamp, but it is enough to keep me busy and in tomatoes and green peppers! Good luck with your garden.

Why do I think the baby girl has seen momma with a bowl and spoon n the kitchen more than a few times, isn't it wonderful when they imitate those that they love!

Blessings
R
