11th Birthday Fun!

This year's birthday was a new one for all of us - L was gone at Scout camp!
He usually has a big party planned for this birthday with theme's ranging from Army to Carnival.
This year however he didn't plan anything, so . . . we picked him up from Scout camp (one worn-out boy!)

And had a surprise party for waiting for him at home - and yes, I neglected to make sure someone got a picture/video of the surprise :(
But, he was very surprised and was very excited!

Drum sticks for his new lessons . . .

L and his good friend reading his card together . . .

what an exhausting day!

Oh, and the cake - Jell-O, cake & Cool Whip!

Celebrating Birthday #2

We celebrated Baby Girl's 2nd Birthday at the local sprinkler park with friends, food and fun!

Baby Girl and Nana playing in the sprinkler's.

Love this one!

She looks a little concerned . . . was it our singing?

And a big smile from the birthday girl!

Baby Girl turns 2!

I can hardly believe Baby Girl is 2!
This was the best shot I could get of her showing 2 . . . can you tell she gets a little excited about it?!

Lots of help from the big brothers opening gifts . . .

I have a feeling this will be hours of fun for the whole family!

And, yep, she's definitely 2!

4th Fun!

This year our 4th celebrations were many and varied!  On Friday, we met up with my sister (to swap some kids) in Columbus, OH.  While there, we participated in their Red, White and Boom! celebration.  We were not impressed with the food selection (everything seemed to be closed), but the fireworks were amazing!

The group in downtown Columbus - we had to get a pic with the headlines playing behind (and yes, it says "Teacher Accused of Breast Milk Spraying Fired"!).

It is always great to get these cousins & friends together . . . I pray that their friendships will last them a lifetime!

Once home, we headed to see some Silverhawks baseball and post-game fireworks with some good friends.  (Honestly, the fireworks were less that spectacular, which means they matched the game too!)

Gotta have some cotton candy at a ball-game!

Thanks for sharing the evening with us!

And one more . . . a video of the finale in Columbus . . . hope you had a great 4th!

Piano Recital 2011

Sorry, this may be video overload!  This year was M's first recital and probably J's last.  M was very nervous and was NOT going to bow - but he did great and ended with the dreaded bow!  I am very proud of each one of these boys.  Hope you enjoy!
