Days 171-177

I'm a little late for this weeks Project 365, we were out of internet/phone (gasp) since Thursday!  Realized today when I called Comcast it would have been back on sometime Friday, if the hubby hadn't unplugged it!  Oh well, it was a good break from all things online!

Day 171, Sunday, June 20th
Bathtime with Baby Girl!  She loves her bath - can you tell?!

Went to the Leeper Park Art Festival in South Bend with Luke.  We each picked our favorites.  I really love the nature photography, esp. the Macro!
Luke like the color and texture in this one, plus the silhouettes.

Day 172, Monday, June 21st
Time to freshen up my toenails!

Day 173, Tuesday, June 22nd
Went to visit my sister and her kiddos for the afternoon.  They (being the city) drained the creek that runs along their home, so here is a rescued crawfish.

Day 174, June 23rd
My Baby Girl thinking she was playing the Wii - she was moving all around and making sound effects too!

Day 175, Thursday, June 24th
M had his cousin stay the night - can't believe I didn't get the camera out?!

Day 176, Friday, June 25th
"Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow . . ."
It's doing quite well, actually!  We've had plenty of rain and so far, have kept up on the weeding!  We've also harvested some of our lettuces and basil!

Day 177, Saturday, June 26th
We went to my niece's last Upward soccer game.  Baby Girl and cousin trying to stay cool!

Day 164-170

Day 164, Sunday, June 13th
A beautiful day to spend with old and new friends.

Day 165, Monday, June 14th
L has started running with Dad.  He is really starting to show me how much he is growing . . . he braved the East Race last week with a squeel of delight, rowed around a pond all by himself last Sunday and climbed the windmill on Saturday (didn't have the camera for a picture of that!).

Day 166, Tuesday, June 15th
Grandpa was back at work on the tree fort . . . the supports are in, now we need some railings!

Day 167, Wednesday, June 16th

Day 168, Thursday, June 17th
The railings and ladder are up!

Day 169, Friday, June 18th
I love a good storm!

Day 170, Saturday, June 19th
My brother in town playing!  It was even funnier to see him in motion!

Day 157-163

Day 157-Sunday, June 6th
We had two extra little boys today - a busy and exhausting, but very enjoyable day!  The 3 year old sang and played the piano for us - as only a 3 year old can do!  Wishing I had gotten him on video!

Day 158, Monday, June 7th
L and M started their first of 10 swimming lessons today at a local high school.  Every day for 2 weeks!  It's amazing how much improvement there is at the end.  L was ready to jump in and go for it!
M - he's no so sure . . . something about getting those ears wet.
And Grandpa started on the tree fort!  He and the boys picked the design from this book.

Day 159, Tuesday, June 8th
Robert's (He's the one smiling at the camera) celebration!  He's ready to enter the real world - well, he'll start college in the fall!  He and his mother have been a part of our extended family since he was about 12 (J's age!) - we've enjoyed watching him grow and will look forward to see what God has planned for him.
The weather was rainy, but that didn't stop the boys - kinda weird to be thinking this could be my boys in about 5 years!

Day 160, Wednesday, June 9th
Baby Girl on the move!  It's really, really hard to get a good picture of her now!  And I had to take her into the doctor for what turned out to be pink-eye!  You can imagine the fun we've had trying to put eyedrops in!

Day 162, Friday, June 11th
J and L with their piano teacher after their recital.  I'll post the video soon - they both did an excellent job!

Day 163, Saturday, June 12th
We all went out to South Bend today for the Ecofest and got a little distracted before even getting to the park.  Dad and J and L going down the East Race!
The boys loved it - can't you tell by the looks on their faces?!

11 months old!

It's already that time again!  Baby Girl is another month old!  Someone said to me this last week "She's almost one, right?"  "No, she's almost 11 months old!"  I'm still going by months!  She is all over the place and in my opinion, she is the CUTEST GIRL EVER!

Day 150-156

Day 150, Sunday, May 30th
The garden is officially planted!  Yeah!  I had some wonderful friends come over on Thursday and we made short work of it.  There are still a few things left to plant, mulching to be done and (since we've had some wonderful rain) weeding to begin!

Day 151, Monday, May 31st
We went to the Memorial Day Parade in downtown Mishawaka.  They did a great job - no candy(!), only a few sirens and so much more I don't have room to list it all.  If I am going to go to a parade this is the one!  The weather started out a little rainy, then a 10 minute downpour and then the sun finally came out!
Ready, Aim . . .
Fire!
All that and Baby Girl slept through it!
Day 153, Wednesday, June 2nd
We went the the Shipshewana Flea Market to get some plants for my planters!  So excited!  Last year, due to being pregnant, I never got around to planting flowers in them.  I was definitely ready - now I'll just have to clean out the weeds that are growing abunduntly in them!
Why you don't let a 6 year old take Silly Putty in the vehicle for a 45 minute drive!  This shirt is still lying next to the washer . . .
Day 155, Friday, June 4th
Baby Girl playing with the little Tupperware dishes!  I actually did not teach her to do this!
She kept smiling for the camera after I took the picture!  Here I finally got it!  I think that is a smile?!
Day 156, Saturday, June 5th
A good pot of soup at the end of a rainy day.  Chicken Tortilla is a fav of ours!
